Butterfly flies
she soars across the sky
she carries all our dreams
but the world has turned away
Butterfly's high
high up in the sky
out of reach and sight
where no one's ever tried
Butterfly falls
she doesn't have her wings
she believes she still can fly
still no one looks her way
Butterfly's alone
nobody understands
why she wants to try and fly
